Chateau d'Esclans Whispering Angel 2016 BottleFrom the very beginning (ex Mouton Rothschild) winemaker Patrick Léon crafted a lighter style of rosé, and this very much errs on the side of being fresh, clean, mineral with a white peach expression. Unoaked, vinified in stainless steel tanks, kept chilled at every stage of the process. From a blend of Grenache, Rolle, Cinsault and Syrah, all hand-harvested. Easy to see why this works so well.

Aroma: Aromatic with bright ripe black cherry and blackcurrant fruit, baking spice, savory dried autumn leaves, subtle violet floral notes with a hint of caramelized barrel sweetness. Palate: Dry, moderate plus bodied, with ripe red and black cherry, and blackcurrant fruit joined by vanilla and cinnamon spice notes on the entry. The mid-palate is fresh with sustained ripe fruit, toasty oak notes and softly textured tannins. The finish is moderately long with notes of cherry candy and blackcurrant fruit matched with subtle classic Cabernet savory elements. Piccini Pinot Grigio 2015Straw yellow in colour with greenish hues Piccini Pinot Grigio is light-medium bodied wine. On the nose it shows immediate forward flowery bouquet and fruit, especially apple and peach, holding a firm and fruity palate. Its crisp acidity balances well with the soft character recommending it as a pleasant and easy to drink wine. It pairs well with Mediterranean cuisine: antipasti or white meat. It is great with sea food.

Bouquet of cherries and vanilla with gentle toasted notes. Balanced in the mouth with soft, ripe and luscious tannins that mingle with delicious, lively fruit. Pleasant fullness and good length.
Valdo Prosecco BrutStraw yellow color, joined with a fine perlage and a fruity taste are the distinguishing features of Valdo's Brut Prosecco DOC. Well-bal- anced structure, matched with its flavorful and aromatic fruity fragrance make it the perfect pairing with starters and particulary with del- icately flavoured dishes and especially seafood. Excellent as aperitif due to its distinctive characteristic of being "easy to drink", best served in a flute glass at a temperature of between 6-8°C to bring out its perfumes and flavours. A to Z Wineworks Pinot Noir 2014Clear and vibrant, the 2014 A to Z Oregon Pinot Noir opens with rich primary aromas of strawberries, cherries, blueberries, raspberries, even cranberries, developing to violets, red currants, pipe tobacco, iron and wet stone. The attack is beautifully balanced between richness and brightness with hints of roses, honeysuckle, red and blue fruit flavors. The mid-palate reveals ripe tannins and crisp acidity with a touch of minerality and spice (cinnamon, anise, saffron, sandalwood) lending greater complexity. This wine, succulent with great concentration, finishes long and rich with classic Oregon freshness. The harmony and depth of the 2014 Oregon vintage are on full display in the 2014 A to Z Wineworks Pinot Noir. Built for mid-term aging, this wine has great integrity and should drink well on release and for the next 3-5 years.
