Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais 2015
Wine EnthusiastThis is an especially rich wine. It has almost a surplus of structure and ripe black fruits. The powerful nature of the wine is balanced by the shot of acidity that keeps it crisp. The aftertaste is full bodied and likely to age for a while. Drink this cru from late 2017.
Wine AdvocateThe 2015 Beaujolais has a very appealing blueberry-scented bouquet that offers plenty of juicy fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, well balanced with bright blueberry and cassis fruit, leading to a nicely defined if short finish. For a straightforward Beaujolais, this is absolutely delicious.
Wine SpectatorThis light-bodied red has a juicy core of boysenberry and plum fruit notes, with a briary frame. Herb and mineral accents pepper the finish. Drink now. 20,000 cases made.
