Lifevine Pinot Noir 2019
The nose is driven by candied dark cherry, blackberry, currants and a dash of pomegranate on the tail of the aromatics. There are layers of vanilla, cocoa, cola, and cedar spice that represent the oak profile on the nose and carry on to the palate with vibrance and intensity. On the palate, the texture is round and rich with forward fruits of plum, black cherry, and pomegranate. A pleasant combination of forest floor, herbs, mushroom, and dried flowers add to the complexity. Long on the finish with lush fruit and a bit of flashy oak that will most definitely integrate with time in bottle.
This is certified pesticide free, which is not the same as organic. It's a modest, astringent wine with light flavors of black cherry and cola. A slightly earthy streak runs through the finish.
