Champalou Les Fondraux Vouvray 2018

Solid classic Vouvray semi-dry, with 25 grams per liter of residual sugar following long fermentation in barrel and several months' aging, also in barrel. Understated and elegant, delivering pear and apple throughout. Cool and smooth on the palate, leading to a long mineral finish, but I wish there was more acidity.
