From the very beginning (ex Mouton Rothschild) winemaker Patrick Léon crafted a lighter style of rosé, and this very much errs on the side of being fresh, clean, mineral with a white peach expression. Unoaked, vinified in stainless steel tanks, kept chilled at every stage of the process. From a blend of Grenache, Rolle, Cinsault and Syrah, all hand-harvested. Easy to see why this works so well.

Wine EnthusiastThe entry-level wine in the Esclans range, this is as fresh and fruity as possible. Juicy red currant and tangy acidity combine in this delicious blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. The wine is dry while showing exuberant fruit. It can be drunk either as an apéritif or with food.

Wine SpectatorPure and focused, with a streamlined core of rose water and strawberry notes that move gracefully though the lacy finish. Lacks range, but shows lovely cut and length. Drink now. 75,000 cases made.
