Dark Horse Rosé 2018
Don't let the pale pink fool you, this wine's only blushing from all the attention. Most bottles of Rosé are imported or created as small batch offerings, that means a premium price tag. Fortunately, Dark Horse winemaker, Beth Liston, decided to take summer by the grapes and create a fruit-forward, Provence-style Rosé that pairs perfectly with sunshine and backyard budgets. Complex, rich fruit fruit-forward flavor. Delightfully layered fruit.
Julien Braud Forty Ounce Rosé 2017 1LGamay Merlot and Cabernet Franc Julien Braud, born around the same time as St. Ides, grew up in the Loire. He farms organically, uses natural yeasts & ages in glass lined cement. It may seem gimmicky at first but don't let the bottle shape fool you. This is a nice crisp light weight Rose that has flavors of strawberry and a hint of melon.
Chateau d'Esclans Whispering Angel 2018 BottleFrom the very beginning (ex Mouton Rothschild) winemaker Patrick Léon crafted a lighter style of rosé, and this very much errs on the side of being fresh, clean, mineral with a white peach expression. Unoaked, vinified in stainless steel tanks, kept chilled at every stage of the process. From a blend of Grenache, Rolle, Cinsault and Syrah, all hand-harvested. Easy to see why this works so well.
Gerard Bertrand Côte des Roses Rosé 2018A wine that celebrates the Mediterranean lifestyle, this pale yet vibrant rosé is designed to be beautiful. The base of the bottle is shaped like a blossoming rose; the top is sealed with a unique glass closure. Within, fresh and bright summer fruits combine with aromatic floral notes; on the palate, it drinks fresh, full and balanced.

Vrac Rosé 2018 3L BoxPssst: "While VRAC’s boxed rosé has been around for a couple of years, it’s been insanely popular this summer, possibly because more stores are carrying it. Or trying to carry it. Recently our local wine provider told us that it’s been nearly impossible to keep on the shelves, adding that the family-sized package of wine is also one of the best rosés out there."
Juliette Rosé 2018Juliette is a delicious and crisp rose that has an initial fruit-forward taste of raspberries and berries that give the wine an attractive open feel. Juliette is refreshing and elegant, bone dry, with layers of lively fruit and a bright, smooth finish – just the way a true rosé from Southern France should be.
