Made from 30% dried grapes in the Amarone method, this delicious wine is loaded with mouthwatering black cherry, carob and fig flavors, with touches of mocha and nutmeg. It's silky smooth, with polished tannins, fresh acidity and depth that offers effortless drinkability and pleasure.
The 2010 Palazzo della Torre is gorgeous. Cool veins of acidity support the dark fruit in this mineral-infused, dark beauty. Graphite, licorice, tar and black cherries are some of many nuances that flow through to the impeccable, refined finish. Once again, Allegrini's Palazzo della Torre is one of the best values in Italian wine.
A subtle, balanced version, with quiet accents of graphite and espresso mixing with the delicate black cherry, dried mint and smoky mineral notes. Shows light grip on the finish. Drink now through 2016.
