Wölffer Summer In A Bottle Rose 2019
|Region||United States, New York|
Bright shiny light copper in color. The glass is filled with ripe pear, fresh papaya and rose petal aromas. The mouth-feel is rich and elegant with great structure and wonderful layers. This Rosé has a lovely balance between fresh fruit, fine tannins, good minerality and graceful acidity.
Chateau d'Esclans Whispering Angel 2018From the very beginning (ex Mouton Rothschild) winemaker Patrick Léon crafted a lighter style of rosé, and this very much errs on the side of being fresh, clean, mineral with a white peach expression. Unoaked, vinified in stainless steel tanks, kept chilled at every stage of the process. From a blend of Grenache, Rolle, Cinsault and Syrah, all hand-harvested. Easy to see why this works so well.
Gerard Bertrand Côte des Roses Rosé 2017A wine that celebrates the Mediterranean lifestyle, this pale yet vibrant rosé is designed to be beautiful. The base of the bottle is shaped like a blossoming rose; the top is sealed with a unique glass closure. Within, fresh and bright summer fruits combine with aromatic floral notes; on the palate, it drinks fresh, full and balanced.
Julien Braud Forty Ounce Rosé 2017 1LGamay Merlot and Cabernet Franc Julien Braud, born around the same time as St. Ides, grew up in the Loire. He farms organically, uses natural yeasts & ages in glass lined cement. It may seem gimmicky at first but don't let the bottle shape fool you. This is a nice crisp light weight Rose that has flavors of strawberry and a hint of melon.
Estandon Côtes de Provence Rosé 2018Pale in appearance with lychee-colored shades, includes delicate, fresh aromas of peaches and pears. Delicious, soft, and well- balanced on the palate. Pair with grilled seafood and is a fine, subtle match with Mediterranean cuisine.
Dark Horse Rosé 2018Don't let the pale pink fool you, this wine's only blushing from all the attention. Most bottles of Rosé are imported or created as small batch offerings, that means a premium price tag. Fortunately, Dark Horse winemaker, Beth Liston, decided to take summer by the grapes and create a fruit-forward, Provence-style Rosé that pairs perfectly with sunshine and backyard budgets. Complex, rich fruit fruit-forward flavor. Delightfully layered fruit.
Domaine Montrose Rose 2019This wine exhibits red berries and citrus flavors on the nose and palate. It is an elegant rosé combining roundness and freshness. Enjoy the Montrose Rosé chilled on its own or paired with grilled fish, grilled meat, and salads.
