Mulderbosch Sauvignon Blanc 2014Beautifully crisp, clean colour with a fresh green hue. This is a really classy style of Sauvignon Blanc displaying both restraint and exuberance at the same time. Classic notes of gunflint, graphite and an elderflower aromatics are balanced by more exuberant notes of fresh green figs and zesty grapefruit. In addition these aromas have good intensity and evolve slowly once in the glass. Multifaceted flavours of Sauvignon Blanc are revealed upon tasting this wine. From almost savoury notes of sage and green olive to more obviously fruity flavours of ripe quince, rock melon and green fig. There's a pithy grapefruit texture to the palate that is well balanced by fresh, yet firm acidity and a delicious length, leading onto a clean, fresh finish that persists for some time.
Villa Maria Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc 2015This crisp and vibrant wine has aromas of fresh snow peas, zesty limes and freshly picked herbs such as thyme and sage. On the palate, juicy acidity is balanced with flavours of melon, passionfruit and ruby grapefruit, capturing the essence of Marlborough. This Sauvignon Blanc is perfect with any seafood, especially freshly steamed mussels.
Svedka Vodka 1.75LFive X the party. Imported from Sweden and distilled five times from Swedish winter wheat.
Cannonball Cabernet Sauvignon 2012Ample at its core with flavors of cherry flambé, Oaxacan chocolate and roasted hazelnut. Tremendous depth leads to a long and unstinting finish.
Bodega Classica Hacienda López de Haro Reserva 2009Medium-high depth wine, ruby red colour with roof tile rim. Powerful on the nose with primary aromas of ripe fruit accompanied by complex spicy and balsamic notes and a slight touch of vanilla. Balanced on the palate, it is a round and unctuous wine with ripe and sweet tannins, providing the wine with a long aftertaste: an elegant Rioja classic.
Cavit Pinot Grigio 2015Color: Bright straw gold. Bouquet: Delicate and pleasing with floral and fruit scents. Taste: Dry, light and crisp. Serving Suggestions: Highly versatile. A wonderful aperitif and equally splendid with pasta in cream sauces, risottos, veal, chicken and fresh seafood dishes. Enjoy well chilled.

Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon WhiskyWe believe Maker's Mark is the only bourbon distillery to use pure, iron-free limestone spring water exclusively, not city, well or river water. Our source is a 10-acre limestone spring-fed lake at the distillery. We are very choosy about selecting the grains that go into our whisky. First, we use yellow corn and red winter wheat from specially selected small farm cooperatives, all of which are located within the limestone geology near the distillery. This wheat gives our whisky its soft, mellow taste. And we only use naturally malted barley (that has no enzyme enhancing gibberellic acid). When our grain is delivered, we check it from top to bottom. If it does not meet our rigid standards the shipment is not accepted. And this really does happen from time to time. We are among the few remaining bourbon distillers that propagates its own yeast for fermentation with cultures that we can trace back to the pre-prohibition era. We also use the traditional sour mash method, similar to making sourdough bread, where we always leave over some culture from one batch to start another. Our rare cypress fermentation tanks are historically irreplaceable. Some of the planks are more than 100 years old. Cypress was chosen for fermentation before modern stainless steel was available because it didn't contribute iron or taste to the final product. While we don't believe that cypress affects the process in any way, we continue to use some of these fermenters to give our visitors a sense of how the process used to look. Maker's Mark is currently the only operating bourbon distillery to make whisky in batches of less than 19 barrels -- the traditional standard for small-batch whisky.
